Betty “Bonnie” Rose Sorrells

Born in Wickenburg, AZ 10-16-1926 to Bessie and James Cameron.  Died peacefully in Casa Grande, AZ 1-6-2022.

Spent the majority of her life in Peeples Valley, AZ.  She attended school in Wickenburg, and Congress, AZ.  She was married to her husband Ernest Lee Sorrells for 76 years before he passed away in 2017.

She was a homemaker, supportive wife and mother to four children, grandmother to 9 grandchildren

She grew fabulous gardens from which she canned her fruits and vegetables. She was an avid painter, seamstress, and made the best roast beef suppers. She spent many hours skiing in Lake Havasu with family and friends. As a child she also boasted of climbing all the hills surrounding Yarnell

Living children Jacqueline Esquerra of Sandia Park, NM and Dick Sorrells of Marion, Ohio.

Preceded in death by her husband, and sons David Sorrells of Peeples Valley, AZ and Eddie Sorrells of Grand Junction, Colorado
