Charles "Chuck" DeGraffenreid Jr. of Wickenburg, passed away peacefully on Oct. 4, 2022, at the age of 69.
He leaves behind his devoted wife of 34 years, Sharon[Pierce], loving son Tucker (Katelyn), precious 11 month-old grandson Flynn, dear brother and friend Daryl (Kim), two additional siblings, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, a great many friends, and his beloved, and faithful Belgian Malinois Rocky.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents Chuck Sr., and Mary Alice[Paulson] DeGraffenreid.
He was born and raised in Southern California, but was a world traveler. He enjoyed exploring the country and the globe. Chuck was a licensed pilot, played several musical instruments, loved the outdoors, camping, boating, hunting, and fishing. Chuck took on life with joy and abandon, making every day an adventure for all who knew him.
Chuck was a master craftsman, and retired in 2019 after spending nearly 30 years building beautiful custom homes in Washington state. Upon retirement, Chuck realized a penchant and gifted talent for painting mountain and desert landscapes.
To celebrate Chuck's Life Well Lived, an intimate memorial for family and friends will be held at the Wickenburg Country Club on Sunday Oct. 30, from 1-3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a donation to your favorite charity in Chuck's honor.
