Cheryl “Sherri” Eddlemon, 74, of Chino Valley, Arizona departed this life on July 14, 2023.
Sherri was born July 26, 1948, in Trenton, Michigan to the late Theodore and Eva Lou Klimkowski. She was the oldest of two children. The family moved to Arizona in 1955.
She loved to cook and took delight in hosting dinner at the American Legion Post 40. She was a lifetime member of the Women’s Auxiliary. She also previously served as the Rodeo Queen Director in the Central Yavapai Rodeo Association. Sherri, along with her sister, Debra Brunton, presented two educational scholarships during The Celebration of Life they sponsored in the name of their father, Theodore Klimkowski.
Sherri was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Ronnie Rainey and Charles Eddlemon. She is survived by her sister, Debra Brunton; son, Darin Rainey; daughter and son-in-law, Brandi and Heath Hinkle; grandchildren, Manny Hinkle, Corinne Rainey, Christopher Rainey, Dayna Rainey, and Ronnie Rainey; and seven great-grandchildren.
A private Celebration of Life to honor Sherri will be held at a later date.
