Cynthia Marie Celaya

Cynthia (Cindy) Marie Celaya, 60, of Wickenburg passed away Jan. 17, 2022.

Cindy was born on August 16, 1961, to Carol Celaya and Daniel Celaya in Phoenix. Cindy graduated from Wickenburg High School in 1979.

Cindy grew up in Wickenburg, a town she loved and called home her whole life. She was a hard worker always went the extra mile to make sure her job was done right. She enjoyed crafting, loved to sew, loved to cook, and enjoyed being around her friends and family. If you have spent any time in Wickenburg, you have been touched by Cindy but, you probably didn’t even know it. She was usually in the background doing dishes, cooking, filling plates or cleaning up. Cindy loved to do for others. She will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Cindy is survived by Kelly Vance (spouse); Mason whom Kelly and Cindy adopted in 2016; children and grandchildren Cami (Kainan, Marcos, Andres, Melia, Stella), Janise (Brenden, Hasten), Justin and Cory. Cindy requested a celebration of life be held in her honor as opposed to traditional funeral services. A celebration in Cindy’s honor will be held at the Wickenburg Elks Lodge on April 9 at 2 p.m. Bring your stories, your laughs and your happiness as we celebrate Cindy’s beautiful life.
