Eddie Greenmyer was a long-time resident of Wickenburg and known by many. He ran a small parking lot sweeper for 36 years. He passed away at his home with his wife of 44 years at his side. His children have all been close by during his final days. He has been a loving and caring Dad to our blended family. Ed Greenmyer (Karen), Charla Hostetler (Doyle), Steve Greenmyer (Anne Marie), Belinda Barrow (Bryan), Robert Thrush (Lisa). We have been blessed by many grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him. He was known for his love, kindness, gentleness, patience, quick wit, and sense of humor. He loved the beauty of God’s creation. He loved talking about weather and watching sports of any type. He was blessed with a liver transplant in 1989 and was a Christian man. He is also survived by a brother, David (Cindy) of Wickenburg; and a sister, Donna McDonald (Doug) of Tucson. David’s Desert Chapel handled funeral arrangements. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation to help us with medical expenses incurred would be appreciated to P.O. Box 463, Wickenburg, AZ 85358 or the Hospice of the Valley.
