Lois Elaine Ditton Kubiac , 76, of Wickenburg passed away peacefully at Hospice of the Valley in Glendale, Arizona. Lois was a beloved sister, daughter, and friend. She was born in Lagrange, Indiana on July 20, 1946 and grew up in Michigan. She is survived by two brothers and a sister: George (Joy) Ditton, Daniel Ditton, and Almeda (Duane) Bechthold. She was preceded in death by her mother Bertha Crexton Ditton, a brother John Ditton, and one sister Margaret Herron.
After attending Point Loma Nazarene College, Lois worked in the accounting department of The Salvation Army. Lois was a devoted Christian and especially enjoyed being around students. For many years she helped kids succeed in the Awanas program. She was a faithful member of the church and worked for many years helping teach youth in Sunday School. Her relationship with God was of utmost importance to her, and it was reflected in how she lived her life and in the relationships she had.
Lois loved life, especially the outdoors and nature. She could often be found riding her bike, hiking, working in the yard, or laying in the sun on her lawn chair. Lois also loved her pet cats and Bella the dog. She enjoyed playing a variety of card games and Mexican Train, and the competitive Lois often times came out during these games. She was an avid reader.
There will be a come and go celebration of life for Lois on Friday, April 21, 2023 from 3:00-5:00 at David’s Desert Chapel in Wickenburg Az. Come and share stories and memories of your time with Lois.
