Pamela Kay Dame Williams, age 69, of Bagdad, passed away Tuesday evening, May 6, 2025, at her granddaughter’s residence in Surprise. She was born to Harold Lewis Dame and Ilene Shirley Dame on February 8, 1956, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Pam was preceded in death by her father Harold Dame; mother Ilene Dame; two brothers, Mike Dame and Keith Dame; and daughter Kimberly Starkey.
She was an honorable member of the Wickenburg and Bagdad Community. Pam spent her lifetime as a waitress, cook, cashier, and restaurant manager. She began her career as a teenager waitressing at Bar 7 and Kelly Café in Wickenburg. In the mid-nineties she transitioned into managing and operating Miner’s Diner for 10 years. She became a cashier at Bashas when the diner closed. Then she assisted Kimberly with The Diner on Main for 2-3 years. Upon Kimberly’s passing, she took over management and ran the diner for another 8 years. A decline in the economy led her to retire.
She was known for hosting fundraisers and holiday parties for the community of Bagdad. She enjoyed spoiling her grandkids at Christmas; but her favorite adventures were those she would take with PA- gambling, camping, boating, and off-roading. When asked about her favorite childhood memories, she recollected, “Going to Pat’s to swim, BBQing, and her dog Candy.”
Pam is survived by her husband Robert Kelly Williams of Bagdad; a son, daughter-in-law, and daughter, Robert and Mary Williams of Goodyear, and Kristy Williams of Bagdad; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Harry and Lori Dame of Morristown, David and Kimberly Dame of Wickenburg; a sister and brother-in-law, Pat and Rick Christofferson of Wickenburg; 7 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren; She also leaves behind many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
