It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Sharon Lee Horton, a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend.
She was 83 and passed away peacefully at home in Congress, Ariz., May 16, surrounded by family and friends.
She was born on Sept. 13, 1942 in Shandon, Calif., to Cecil W. Smiley and Elenore L. Smiley.
She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Dale W. Horton; her brother, Richard Smiley and his wife, Marilyn; her daughter, Roberta Reams; her son, Wesley Horton and his wife, Barbara; her nieces, Deanna Smith and her husband, Micah, and Elizabeth Smiley; her nephew, Steven Fairall and his wife, Rebecca; her grandchildren, Jose Magaña III, Antonio Magaña, Joshua Horton, Daelynn Horton and Katherine Horton; grandnieces, Erin Britton and her husband, Nick, Lydia Smith, Jordan Fairall and Sydney Fairall; grandnephews, Brandon Anderson, Danny Brown and his wife, Tara, and Rusty Fairall; great-grandnephews, Mason Britton and William Brown; and great-grandniece, Emma.
She is predeceased by both her parents, her sister Charlotte Fairall (1975) and niece Christina Brown (1984).
Services will be held in Atascadero, Calif., this month.
